The national dance of Brazil is perhaps one of the most energetic and exhilarating dances! These courses will focus on Samba no Pé, the carnival style variation used by passistas (soloist samba dancers) in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. We break the steps in a clear and methodical way, providing you with a framework to learn this fast synchopated dance, its body movements and flavor.

You do not need a partner to join any of our samba classes.

Class Attire

We recommend workout clothes that can show hip movement well. Flat footwear (runners, dance sneakers) is recommended for level 1 and dance shoes with heels for level 2.
